Mission
Maqam Arts Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting the diverse voices and cultural legacies of South West Asia, North Africa, Mediterranean (SWANAM), and their diasporas through arts and dance. We foster cross-cultural dialogue, creative collaboration in world arts and community empowerment by supporting artists, curating inclusive programs, education, performances and creating platforms that celebrate heritage, innovation, and shared humanity.
